She was the first leader to take steps towards making India a global nuclear power, having successfully conducted the first nuclear test called ‘Smiling Buddha’ in Pokhran Rajasthan on 18 May 1974.

5) Abhay Ghat

Abhay Ghat is the Samadhi Sthal of the sixth Prime Minister of India, Morarji Desai, which is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Morarji Desai was the first Prime Minister of India who became the Prime Minister from a party other than the Indian National Congress.

In 1991, he received the title of India’s highest honor ‘Bharat Ratna’ and in 1990 was also honored with Pakistan’s highest honor Nishan-e-Pakistan.

In India, his birthday is celebrated as Renewable Energy Day.

Rajiv Gandhi is considered the father of computer revolution in India.

Chaitra Bhoomi Dr. B.  R.  Ambedkar’s memorial site.  Which is located in Dadar (Mumbai), Dr. B.  R.  Ambedkar is also known as ‘Baba Saheb’.  He fought for the rights of Dalits throughout his life.

Where does the creator of his constitution go for the chairman of the committee that made the constitution of India.  Ambedkar was also the one who installed Ashoka Chakra in the flag.

In 1990, he was (posthumously) awarded the Bharat Ratna Award.

13) Ekta Sthal

Ekta Sthal is located in Darya Ganj, New Delhi.

Giani Zail Singh was the seventh President of the country.

During his tenure, major incidents like ‘Operation Blue Star’ in the Golden Temple complex in Amritsar and the assassination of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi were in the valley.
